I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and definitely plan to live in Texas for the rest of my life because I'm a Texas girl at heart! I recently graduated from Texas A&M University with a BA in Communication and a minor in Spanish. My family is originally from Colombia, so I have been a fluent Spanish speaker since birth. My decision to minor in Spanish came from wanting to expand my knowledge in Spanish to a professional and business level. Throughout my time at Texas A&M I was active in various organizations such as A-Line Magazine and participated in many Aggie traditions such as The Big Event, and Replant.
Although I do plan to lay my roots down in Texas, I am highly interested in traveling the world and experiencing different cultures. Cultural aspects such as food, music, dance, or customs that are different than American or Colombian culture absolutely fascinate me! My dream countries to visit are Indonesia, Thailand, Spain, and Australia. The further out east — the better. I plan on traveling for the rest of my life so that I can experience everything that the world has to offer while gaining new cultural knowledge, and I believe that everyone should get out and travel as well!
